Private Events & Corporate Parties

Private events at Manns Distillery are held in the top-tier of our cocktail lounge that boasts ample room for your guests to mingle, with cocktail tables, comfortable sofa and lounge seating, all overlooking our 1,100 litre still and production facility.

Our casual and warm event space comfortably accommodates up to 50 guests and offers bar service and delectable tapas offerings.

Our private space is ideal for hosting:

  • Rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, birthday, anniversary & family celebrations

  • Corporate or off-site meetings and events

 FAQ 

1. How many guests does this space accommodate? 
Our private lounge comfortably seats 40-45 people. 

2. When is the space available to book? 
Our lounge space can be reserved for your private event during regular  business hours based on availability. On Saturday Evenings, the space is  available from 6pm to 10 pm. Events that extend outside of our regular  hours of operation will be subject to an increased minimum bar spend 

3. Is it Private? 
Well, not really. The mezzanine area if open to the cocktail lounge below. 

4. Is the space accessible? 
NO. There is only 1 set of stairs going up, so any patrons with mobility  issues will not be able to join the party upstairs. 

5. What amenities can my party expect? 
The space offers bar service, and a food menu is available for pre-order.  Washroom facilities are also available in the private lounge.  

6. What does it cost to book the event space? 
There is no venue fee to book the event space, however, a minimum Bar  spend (plus taxes & gratuity) is required

Event Space Deposit Minimum Spend (excluding tax & tip) 

 3hrs $150 $ 600.00 
 4hrs $200 $ 800.00 
 5hrs $250 $1000.00 

  • A non-refundable down payment is required to reserve your event at the  time of booking. This can be done by e-transfer. Contact us for payment instructions.

  • An automatic gratuity of 18% added for all services. 

  • All Deposits and prepayments are non-refundable. However, you can pay  for any additional services or products purchased during the event can be  paid at the time of the event.  

10.Can I decorate the space for my event? 
You are welcome to decorate the space permitting there is nothing  taped/adhered to the venue walls. We respectfully ask that confetti (or  balloons with confetti) not be brought on site. All decorations must be  removed and taken with you at the end of the event. 

11.Music:  
Please keep in mind that our venue is open concept, and the acoustics are  a little challenging for such a space. All musical arrangements are to be  approved by the Distillery prior to the event. Our event space does have  an internet-based speaker system, and we are able to Stream Spotify  Playlists if they are accessible. 

12.How do I book?

13.Food: 
We work with an off-site catering company that you can place an order  through, they have a selection of appetizers, salads, pizza etc... Let us  know if you would like to order your food through us and we will provide  a menu to look through. Food selections must be placed a minimum of 2  weeks before your event.  

If you would like to bring your ownfood from another company, you can  do so. We have chafing dishes available for use if needed. Bringing your  own food in requires a $100 fee to cover the cost of plates, napkins,  cutlery and clean-up (No outside drinks no food other than catering) 

Cakes brought in will be subject to a $2.00 per person fee to cover the  cost of plates, napkins, cutlery, and clean up. 

14. Food Intolerance, Dietary Choices or Allergies: 
Try to find out prior to your event if any of your guests have certain food  intolerances, special diets or Allergies, so that we can accommodate them.
